RIDDIM CHORD TRAINER guide
The trainer helps you recognise the difference between a major chord and a minor chord by ear. Each round has 10 attempts.
Standard mode
You hear two chords on the same root note. The first is either major or minor and the second is the opposite. Choose whether the FIRST chord was major or minor. Use this mode when you are just starting out.
Bassmaster mode
You hear a single chord. Identify whether it is major or minor. The root note is shown on screen to help you connect the sound with a key.
- Press the replay button at any time to hear the chord(s) again.
- Try singing or humming the chord back after it plays.
- Major chords usually sound bright and happy; minor chords sound darker and moodier.
- Switch between modes to keep your ears fresh.
